In the village of Unro, a remote community with no road access, its people have faced significant challenges due to lack of access to water. We helped them change their lives by installing a solar-powered well.
Discover how this initiative has transformed the lives of over 300 people and their 70 homes, freeing them from the burden of walking miles to obtain clean and safe water for both their families and their animals.
FRUIT CART
Umer, a local vendor, previously faced challenges in selling his limited quantity fruits. Carrying them manually in bags, a practice known as "Chowni" in Urdu, proved cumbersome and limited his sales potential. Recognizing his determination, we decided to intervene.
By investing $150 in a specially designed cart and branding it for him, we transformed his approach to business. Equipped with essential supplies like fruits and a weighing scale, Umer's daily earnings skyrocketed from $3 to $15, a fivefold increase.
Our support not only provided him with a more efficient means of selling but also substantially improved his livelihood, symbolizing the power of a simple yet impactful intervention.
FOODPANDA KITCHEN
Kausar - This lady suffers from back problems and is getting old, she goes house to house to cook food and barely makes ends meet.
We committed to support her by setting up a "Foodpanda Kitchen" for her (Its like Uber Eats/DoorDash/GrubHub) that allows people to cook from their home and sell their products.
